PRIVATE CELLO LESSONS

Whether you are a curious 5-year-old interested in playing music or an octogenarian getting around to a lifelong dream, my lessons are designed to make sure playing your cello is the best part of your day.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

My approach to the cello consists of teaching the technical and performance aspects through the lens of what gives the player the most satisfaction.

YOUTH

ORCHESTRA

Students in orchestra hanging out with friends can develop technique while playing Star Wars and Disney tunes that remind us how fun it is to play the cello!

Each lesson will also focus on any upcoming performance music to encourage success.

COLLEGE
AUDITIONS

For students working toward college auditions, our emphasis is on scales and classical repertoire to make a great impression when it counts the most.

SELF-
FULFILLMENT

If you are coming to the cello simply for your own enjoyment, we will focus on styles and melodies that you are drawn to and base our exercises around those themes.
